A swift amendment! 47270 in blue.
One of the advantages of Bachmann’s first effort at a 47 was that it retained a lot of class 57 features. This of course makes it perfect as a base model for the class 57 testbed 47270, now beautifully restored so kind of original condition but still sporting the 57 style windows on the front. Here is my take on it anyway. Note the centrally positioned headlight and also precision labels head code panels which illuminate very nicely!
